Ode to my shoes

Have you ever had the perfect pair of shoes? Mine are quite unlikely candidates. They're clunky and sort of pilgrim-esque chunk-heeled lace-ups. But when I walk in them, they make this confident clicking and my gait is powerful. They fit perfectly and hold on to my feet so I don't feel constrained or awkward walking fast in them.

I love these shoes. That is all.
