The Birthday
Tonight, we celebrated my dad's 50th birthday at Teochew City, Centrepoint. It was no mean feat since I had to plan for the entire Loh clan -- more than 30 of us in total. Planning began one year ago and I'm very proud and pleased to announce that it has been a tremendous success! I especially want to thank my boyfriend for every single thing that he has helped me with, from being correct about the music to lugging all the barang barang all over the place. I'm also very glad I worked with my aunty who was equally efficient and helpful. God has also been very faithful, for without His sustenance, none of us would have been here today.
Finally, I think I will be able to sleep well tonight (one of the few nights ever) because I have one less thing to worry about; as soon as the party was over, I felt a great burden rolling off my shoulders. I shall leave tomorrow to worry about the research proposal.
