“On or about 13 May 2008, I caused a blog entry to be published on this blog (a website with an address at http://cuteworld.livejournal.com/). In this blog entry, I had alleged that one Ms Romona Loh requested for a copy of my thesis with the intent to plagiarise, and did commit plagiarism. I admit and acknowledge that the above allegations are false and completely without foundation, and I withdraw my allegations. I sincerely and unreservedly apologise to Ms Romona Loh for the distress and embarrassment caused to her by these allegations. I undertake not to publish the said blog entry or make any further allegations about Ms Loh to the same or similar effect. I have also agreed to partially indemnify Ms Loh in respect of the legal costs and expenses incurred by her in connection with this matter.”
