I went to a career fair yesterday. A career fair is an odd event. Everyone lines up in front of stalls for various corporations, hands over their resume and gives a short pitch begging for employment. It's a tiring and vaguely humilating experience. I spent more time talking to a classmate from Hamilton (Erica, who is very tall and a singer, for the curious) than I did to any single employer.
Still, I managed to get several decent leads. And I spent the day sending out notes and filling in applications. So my unemployment finally feels like work. At least it feels like I'm doing something.
