[The feed begins on Dev hunched up, it can be assumed he's in a corner. Sweat is glistening on his forehead and is shaking heavily. The Sirens woke him up, but it was the voices of the dead in the static on the television that got to him. But hearing that name: Silent Hill, the name was different in his world but the game's concept was still the ( Read more... )

[Yes, he sounds like a crazy man. But he knows he's not the only one who'd have heard of it - right?]

In my world, there is a story of sorts that describes a place like this...I know it sounds damned weird.

[He's still jittery, though if Marly understood the gravity of this situation he would be as well.]

Honestly? Events stopped being "damned weird" a long time ago. I think I will make of it what I can.

I suppose...look just be sure you don't make too much noise and avoid shining light where the demons or creatures are. They'll come for you and they aren't like the ghosts in Jigoku - they're the product of a single person's wish for everyone in this town to suffer for what they did to her.

In the version of it I heard it was a demon called upon by a girl...there are many different variations. I only know one of them...But avoid the people at the church if there is one here - they're the ones she's seeking revenge on.

... what are you talking about?

Like I said there are different variations of the story in our world.

The one I heard was: Bad things happened in this town because of a cult trying to keep innocence and purity prominant. A girl ended up getting badly hurt because of their obsession and a demon or something...I'm not sure what it was heard her plea and made this place a hell on earth to punish them for it...

[He rubs the nape of his neck. Obviously the variation he'd heard of wasn't that well known.

ooc: he's going from the movie version of silent hill]

Oh, I know. But she wouldn't. The Movie didn't follow Game Cannon. crown_of_poppy November 6 2009, 01:30:30 UTC
That may be true, but that's not why the town is like this.

The town was always kind of like this. But a cult opened up the path for the God to be reborn, but corrupted its rebirth. Or maybe it was always this vile.

[He hums slightly as he takes this in]

What is the God really? #is it really just a corrupted god or a demon?

Again, it's complicated. I don't really know. The only person who'd talk to me about it was crazy, but she called her a god, and said that she brought joy and time to the world. But she was also trying to make god be born with anger and pain, so she could understand suffering and therefore, compassion. So she helped create the town we're trapped in today.

She was totally nuts.

I could understand the reasoning...but you can't mess with something like a God to that degree. Especially if this is the results.

Sounds it. There's no sign of this God at the moment right?

It'll get worse if God is allowed to be reborn. This.... stuff will spread to the whole world if God is reborn. Or worse. God might destroy the entire world in order to remake it. None of those hair-brained cultists seemed to think far enough ahead.

Tch, shit. Think we can do anything while we're here to prevent that?
