* Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. Is there a more beautiful piece of music? If there is I'd sure like someone to tell me what they think it is. Considering how simple it sounds, it is surprisingly hard to play.
* Hackers ....You go! You know when CG made that nifty visual representation our firewall at work... out of salt... and crumbs from our lunch....who knew that it really was so flimsy that a sneeze would compromise it. Yes hacked again. We are going to get t-shirts. What exactly does the IT security department get paid for again? So, I'm sorry, taking me off the Internet solved what exactly? I will be interested to hear how they got through the firewall...for the third time. Except of course that's not what happened just ask IT. Morons.
* In related news..... no stupid boy #2 when they take us off the network we cannot send production to the printers. We aren't connected to the network. No it doesn't matter that users will be pissed. We aren't connected to the network. Yes I see the automated system still ran all the reports but we still can't print them. We aren't connected to the network. Yes I understand it's what we get paid for but but that doesn't change the fact that WE AREN"T CONNECTED TO THE NETWORK! Idiot.
* Snape in misty_seasons makes me cry. I am such a wuss, but he seems so hopeless.
* Have Cotton candy! And Ruffles Sour Cream and Cheddar chips :)
* Yay. Shiny new basic keyboard chart....steps closer to my brilliant Beethoven moment.
* Original slash fic has never interested me, for some reason...which is odd because I like to read and really, what is the difference? Somehow though my online reading has always been about a fandom of some sort. Well yesterday I foolishly followed a link to a site Juxtapose Fantasy and I must admit to finding the teaser fics good. Then I discover it's the same author whose LOTR slash converted me to RPS and maybe even slash in general (but I know she was used to make me read RPS) waaaaaaaayyyyy back many, many moons ago. I remember being annoyed when she stopped writing LOTR and now I found my way back to her. There seem to be three sections The Juxtan Stories, and Juxtapose City and Angel:Reverse Series (Not so sure about this last one but I haven't read the free ones yet). I joined ($9.99 a month) and sit here sighing with impatience while the approval and money transfer go though, 24 hours at least, but I still hoped. I have started 4 different stories and I want to know what happens next :). If suddenly the stories suck (not likely) I can quit right? Heck that last SK book I bought was crap and that was $12. Yes I am running out of fic to read and she updates weekly. Oh and Black is so cool!
* I have been working of some icons of the fantastic Snape/Lupin artwork by undunoops. I hope she okays them *fingers crossed* for use. She didn't seem too comfortable giving permission so I want her to have another change to say no at which point I'll just continue to enjoy the image as my desktop WP.
