* Firefly is weird. Very weird. Can I just say I like the way the captain just will kill people suddenly. It shouldn't, but it makes me laugh, as in the 2nd ep when he kicked the guy into the engine so unexpectedly. I totally don't get the whole River story line though? I LOVE Kaylee.
* aliaself can't tell the difference between Alan Rickman and David Thewlis (well and Gary Oldman but I will concentrate on the first two first). This bothers me. I have made it my life goal to fix this horrific defect.
This first is David from my favourite movie of his, Divorcing Jack. This is about 1998.

Now Rickman did Dogma about that time but he has black hair in that so that would only confuse you. Instead I'll give you his Sense and Sensibility character which was a few years earlier.

You will note both are blond, however they are not overly alike, apart for that. David is also quite a bit taller.
