I have decided for my 50th birthday I am going to the UK. Is that the politically correct term? I guess it's actually 'I'm going to Britain and Ireland'. Anyway, London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dublin. Three weeks in, I think, May. I understand they actually have spring in the UK.
The British Museum (the entire reason I want to go to London) is FREE! Ditto V&A and the Tate. How cool is that? We also want to day trip to Brighton(sp) & Bath. Yes we are mad fans of Georgette Heyer's books. Besides Dublin itself we also want to day trip to where the relatives came from... which escapes me at present.

Finished S4 of Doctor Who. Now the stalling begins, we started going back over all the extras we never watched.
Must find somewhere that sells real looking fake guns and knives for next years Polaris.
Sister and I are going to nip over the FanExpo as it's so close to home. Hoping for T.A.R.D.I.S and Dalek earrings and a possible an autograph from Summer Glau plus Steampunk fashion show and all other fine stuff relating to that fandom. Also it would be way cool if the dealers room had fake weapons for other sister's costume and knives for my Ronan costume.
