So long my dear Guayacos
It seems that I am going to be back in the States living here for good. The weird thing for me is how foreign the States seem right now. For the passed two years I have lived in Guayaquil and visited Tucson only once for a bit more than a month. Since 2008 I have spent nearly 3 years abroad.
I am really excited about going to college. I've always wanted to go. I even studied for a year in 2007 before I got the opportunity to go on my adventure. It is going to be strange being the 24 year old freshman... haha, especially in the dance program with a bunch of sheltered jazz and ballet teenie boppers. I don't feel as though my age is a bad thing, but I am a little nervous about making new friends. I don't know if we'll have much in common.
I have been dreaming about this step in my life for a while now. I hope it is all that it's cracked up to be and more.
