Wooooooo it's been a while since I updated! An overview of the last few months:

August-  Was on a "married high," didn't do much. Got a week off from work.

September-  Nothing much new. Got a raise at work, after thinking of bumping me down to part-time they decided to keep me at full time. This was good because the full-time money is nice, bad because I was thinking of going back to school part-time.

October-  I end up taking a night class at UW anyways, to get a certificate in Genealogy and Family History. This is the best class ever; it's so research-heavy but I LOVE doing research so it works out. Also I'm finding out more and more about my ancestors every day, and I'm around a whole group of people who understand obsessions like spending 8 hours pouring over Census images or trying to transcribe bad handwriting from probate records from the year 1908. Working full time and take a part time class makes for a very tired Nat, but I couldn't pay for the class otherwise, and it's totally worth it. Hopefully in June I'll have my certificate! Also in October I turned 24 and we celebrated 3 months of marriage, hee hee.

November- Visited my grandparents in San Diego for Thanksgiving. Did an oral interview with my grandfather for the Genealogy class, got more information than I ever could have imagined, including the story of my grandparent's engagement and marriage, which sounds like a badass movie plot, complete with secret meetings and armies and guns. Bad. Ass.

December- Burning out quickly at work and with classes; the last day of the quarter couldn't come soon enough. Two weeks off before classes start up again, with a ton of workday off during those two weeks, shall do my mental state good. Spending Christmas in Seattle with the husband, not even going to start the whole splitting-holidays-between-families thing until next year. Going to Portland for a couple of days though, since we haven't seen his family in a while.

Yup yup that's it so far. And how are you?
