Busy day
Well, I got paid today! Yay! It's so refreshing not to be broke anymore. And I'll be able to pay my bills for the month and have money left over! Bonus! :)
I went to lunch with a friend of mine, then to Costco. I picked up some food, and a book (you know, analog movies!) called "The Historian" by Elizabeth Kostova. It's a vampire story, according the article I read on it, told from the viewpoint of a historian who discovers a bundle of letters in her father's study and traces them back through history to Dracula.
Been obsessing over the song "Breathe" by Anna Nalick. I haven't figured out just what it is yet, but something about this song /really/ resonates with me. In the video on Launch.com, she's singing without music (can't remember how to spell the term..acapella?) and it's /very/ powerful, I think.
