For more detailed information on Akako's canon, look here. The quality of the scans is poor, but the manga is short and Akako's only in a few chapters.
Akako's charm bracelet is totally hattergems's idea a contrived way of showing her magic rather than telling made up of six charms. Each reacts to a different kind of magic, and glows a color which corresponding to that kind of magic (note that when magic of any kind is directly applied to the charms, they will glow). The charms are:
A cat. It glows green in response to Akako calling on the power of souls in hell.
A pair of kanji , painted red. It glows red in response to the presence of charmed or cursed objects, or when Akako summons one.
A heart. It glows pink when Akako has enslaved the heart of a man.
A musical note. It glows blue when Akako performs a spell, or when one is performed in her presence.
A small mirror. It glows white when showing Akako a small scene from the future.
A crystal marble. It doesn't so much glow as create shadows, which it does when Akako has a premonition.
