One less Gerald Ford in the world

Gerald Ford: God bless him, he tried.

He may have been woefully underqualified, Nixon's right hand man in the immediate aftermath of Watergate, and a sub-par president, regardless, he will be missed.

But what about all the good things about Gerald Ford? He saw the end of Vietnam, he had to be a Republican president in the worst climate for Republicans ever, he was probably the most athletic person to have ever served as president, he was an adoptee whose birth name was Leslie King Jr, he was an Eagle Scout, a Yale graduate, and a WWII veteran. Thanks, Gerald Ford, for being president.
