I feel kinda bad. While I was taking Marissa 2 Katarina's we passed by like 15 guys 17 & older and they would each check me out. (SO SORRIES IF I SOUND CONCEITED)Marissa looked at me and went "why are you so perfect?" I was shocked I was like "what?!" and she goes "your in IB so your smart, your beautiful and sexy, you have a cute & sweet boyfriend, your friends with EVERYBODY and your funny and you don't even try. It's not fair."
I stopped walking and was feeling SO bad because if that's how she sees me then she feels she has a lot to "accomplish" when she gets my age because i'm the oldest. I looked at her and simply said "no one is perfect Marissa." The smartass responded with "in case you haven't noticed your not a no one." I just kinda looked at her. Then she pointed to this one guy that was looking at me and she goes "see?!! and u haven't even showered! Your hair is in a messy bun and your wearing shorts and a tank top and the guy is drooling!"
I didn't know what to say. So I hugged her. Then she said "I'm glad your my older sister. Just remember me, when you get Homecoming Queen, okay?" I almost bust out laughing and crying because it was all out of no where. Sisters are so cute sometimes. She boosted me up. I didn't even know I needed one. SO it was time for older sister advice.
In Katarina's driveway I said "Marissa you just have to be confident. Don't give a shit what others say or think about you if they don't know you. Guard your thoughts because what you think, you are. Your gonna have a lot of assholes as boyfriends, but eventually you'll find one who gives you butterflies and never makes you cry. Your my mini-me so if all you said is true then your all you called me. And don't wear make-up! Okay you can because you like to, but I hate it. Anywho choose your friends wisely because you become what they are."
Holy shit I remembered it all. That has got to be the KODAK moment of all time. Everyone this story was 2 show you what our younger sibs really think about us and how you are their flippin role model. So pay attention to them every now and then. And when your not fighting with them remind them of how special they are. ANd give them lil advice tid bits here and there. It's not gonna hurt, if anything it will help. God kept me home tonight on purpose and I couldn't be more thankful.
I know I sound all preachy or commercial like so i'm gonna go. Just think about it. And a boost 2 y'all from me! ALL OF YOU ARE KICKASS PEOPLE! YOUR ALL ADORABLE INSIDE AND OUT! AND YOU ALL ARE SMART EVEN IF YOUR NOT IN IB OR HONORS CLASSES! OO AND I LOVE YOU ALL! I'M HERE WHENEVER YOU NEED ME! Hope I made your night like Marissa surprisingly made mine.
