I was at the Amway Grand Hotel in Grand Rapids last night and all day yesterday.
My mom had some work stuff going on in the hotel. It was my second time staying there and I had a blast. Mostly because I was taking pictures the whole time. I actually ended up seeing some people I remembered from last summer... one really nice guy who helped me carry my luggage. I saw him at the 11th floor elevator. Then this girl who works in one of the shops. She said she remembered meeting me. Maybe I'm not as forgettable as I think I am.
When we got to the hotel it was like 7am. I was dead tired. This younger guy who opened my door scared me so much. The first thing he said was "Nice shoes!" I really hope he was joking because only about... oh... 85% of the U.S. population has black converse sneakers. Then these really annoying 12 -year-old girls said the same thing when I was in the elevator. Weird.
I guess I could go on for another hour but I'm really tired. Plus, I'm sure most of you want to see the pictures anyway. A lot of them I'm pretty proud of, even though most of them are sideways or blurry or just plain suck. Oh well. I always share anyway.
