Thoughts about WaT
So, finally saw this weeks ep, and after having read the comments from my flist, I had two small comments :
What was with Sam mentioning to Martin that he was walking well? Were we supposed to have noticed that he still wasn't quite up to par? He says that he is comfortable at anything under a trot? Is that a throw away line to remind us he had a rough start to the season?
Martin wasn't very hungry? Since when? Applesauce? Is his digestive system still giving him trouble...?
It seems odd that after several episodes where he seemed fine that the writers would suddenly remember that he might still be having trouble from the whole shooting thing....Or maybe I am just seeing things....
Also, in last weeks ep, am I the only one bothered by this inconsistency?
How is it that Elena knew immediately that the maid was lying about being from El Salvador by her accent (and where did a Puerto Rican learn the difference?), but the Federale in Mexico asked Danny if he were Mexican? Maybe I am imagining things, but it seems to me that there is enough difference between Mexican Spanish and Cuban Spanish (esp. via Florida!) that a true Mexican could tell the difference! Or maybe he was being condescending to Danny...
