Back from Rome!
Rome was WONDERFUL, and I miss the girls already...sigh...we had so much fun, except that we nearly melted from the heat! It was HOT, but Rome is just as beautiful as I remember. My trip home went without a hitch, though I spent most of the day at the airport in Rome. Gave me the chance to read most of Harry Potter though I didn't quite get finished.
I didn't expect to be so tired when I got home last night around midnight, but we didn't get much sleep the night before, and by the time I landed in Marseille, I was already half asleep! Unfortunately, I didn't get to sleep in quite as much as I expected as my Mom has agreed to babysit two small children (5 months old and 2 years old). Their arrival this morning at 7:30 was kind of loud and hard to ignore....but they are good kids and not taken to random whining or crying or whatnot, so not tooooo bad. Plus their parents just picked them up, so blessed quiet...
So, while in Rome, I managed to squee about my slashy pirate books and may have intrigued some of the girls, so here are links back to my earlier posts on the subject :

thirteen_skater is halfway through the second one as we speak and has confessed that they are addictive! Ha! A new convert.
