London!
So, I'm in London as usual for New Years! Meant to post before leaving, but things were quite hectic and didn't get a chance...
Christmas was nice, at home with parents and my sister and her husband. Only 2 days of work during the week, so that was brilliant, and only 3 next week when I return. The only good news about the job was that they gave us a huge Christmas bonus, an extra month salary, which made 14 for the year. Hard to complain when they do things like that. They even gave us our checks before Christmas instead of waiting until the end of the month...still don't like the job though...must do something about finding a new one...
London so far is fine, though the weather is annoying. It was lovely out when my sister, her husband's sister and I all went out shopping around 11 this morning. We just came home in blustery rain downpour! Blah.
It does seem to be clearing up, which is good, because we have to go out again this evening as we have tickets to see Cabaret at the West End.
Tomorrow we will go out for dinner and go watch the fireworks along the Thames, and after that I have heard rumors of a courrier party, but I may skip that, as that tends to be a little wilder than I can handle....I don't mind coming back alone, and my sister has 2 adorable kittens...well, they are 5 months but still ACT like kittens! Schrodinger and Galileo (sp?)
