That's right, Boy...Hold my wood and stroke my gun!
Well, this is a little late... but I HAVE to share Steve's brilliant poster for DudeRanch's show at Irene's last Saturday:
Now, innocent as I am, I didn't realize that the little boy looks as though he's holding Chuck Connors'...um, "wood". Since Chadst*r pointed it out, I can't quit giggling. The spouse took some umbrage at this, pointing out righteously that this makes a mockery of Chuck Connors' relationship with his son (yes, that's his biological son looking up at the smirking cowboy)... he then took me to a Web site to show me pictures of Chuck Connors' career (baseball player and actor -- he was "The Rifleman" on TV). And guess what... in almost EVERY picture, Chuck and the little boy are doing things that could easily be misinterpreted. Steve might want to choose this one for his next effort. It has SO much potential.
I guess this type of thing used to look wholesome before people with dirty minds like Steve tarnished it. The poster was kind of the high point of the show although it was great to see James, Greg and Dave reprise some Things Fall Apart material. And our version of "Piss Up a Rope" was quite well-received I think. Thanks to everyone who came out and please come out in December because I think Irene's said they'd let us play there again.
