Unpopular(?) Opinion: I didn't NOT like it? It's just... different? I'm really also nonplussed by Dean's decision to stay with Lisa and Ben instead of going back immediatly to his old life. Then again, I would want to be as FAAAAR away from Grandpa Frencheshiskids as humanly possible.
As. Humanly. Possible.
And I kinda like the idea of domestic!Dean balancing hunting missions with Ben's soccer practice. It feels like almost a Buffy-esque thing. OH SNAP DEAN MUST HAVE MOVED TO A HELLMOUTH. Also he still owns a rocket-dogcar that can get from Buffalo to Queens in 2 hours flat so it's not like he can't commute.
In conclusion: Oh show. Yoooooou. *finger wagging*
ETA: Oh, and I did like the shattering glass title! Though I may take it a little too meta. Like I pictured it as the glass of illusion shattering and we are now faced with reality that THIS IS SHOW NOW like in that HIMYM episode where they all realize Lily chews super-loud and blah blah blah.
