I see you along the way
Astoria really is a terrific place for foodies. I can pop into Athens Cafe for the best coffee in the neighborhood, then go just a couple doors down to grab a cheap (and surprisingly tasty) bagel with Lox and cream cheese. NOM. And all this goes down before my first load of laundry is done.
Gonna test out how to get from my house to JFK without using a taxi later when I go grab dark_reaction today! I'm excited because I've never gone to that airport sans cab before. We'll see how it goes, I will probably insist on a cab back, though.
You can take the girl outta the Upper West Side, but you can't take the Upper West Side outta the girl. Hence why I'm willing to spend $4.50 on coffee without hesitation.
But really, best coffee ever.
