[Hisoka can be found sitting by himself in the woods. His wounds from the Mallynapping have healed entirely. He's been in and out of the village a few times now, and while all the joy and happiness from the baby have done a lot to soothe his frayed nerves, he's still very upset - and good luck getting him to talk about it.]

[Usagi went for a walk, leaving the clinic in Lute and Julia's capable hands. She wasn't down or upset, perhaps worried, but all the hype about the baby was making her feel slightly lighter than usual. She even had a skip to her step, and was humming.

It's not until she notices Hisoka that she comes to a stop, her humming coming to a quiet halt. He didn't look too good. Then again, He hadn't for a long, long while.]

[ooc: Trying harder, doll? Well, If that's so, then I'll have Usagi come bug him. Is that cool? =D]

[He senses her - it's easy for him to tell who's who. He moves a bit, perhaps as if he's thinking about looking back... but he doesn't say anything.]

[She's quiet for several minutes, pondering if she should bother him or not.

In the end, She decides to bother him because that's what she does best. Plus, She can't leave her friend moping about. He just does it too much. So, She quietly walks towards him (even careful not to trip and cause herself to become Queen of Wailing).]

... Usagi. [He finally looks up, over his shoulder. She's the one person he'd allow to see how upset he really is.]

[With that look on his face, Usagi's quick to kneel beside him, worried. She gnaws on her lower lip lightly.]

Hisoka... What's wrong?

Tsuzuki... he's gone already. [He closes his eyes briefly, then looks back at her] I thought the Malnosso had taken him. He was gone when I got back... and he's still... gone.

[She stares down at the grass. She hadn't actually thought about that guy until Watari mentioned him. It made her feel slightly guilty, but she shakes it off.]

He's probably ... safe at home, worrying about you. [She makes a move to touch his shoulder gently.] I'm ... sorry.

[He tenses a bit at the touch at first, then relaxes and nods] It's... fine. You don't have to be sorry. Tch... with all the free sweets here... this place would have been a dream come true until those bastards got a hold of him.

[She squeezes his shoulder, a way of showing her support.] Let's ... be thankful he got out of here before they got a hold of him, huh?

... yeah. It's selfish of me, isn't it...

No. I don't think it is. [She pauses.] Not after all this. Sometimes being selfish is a good thing, Hisoka. Sometimes we need it.

[He just nods slightly, then glances up] And you... what if you disappear?

[themoonuplifts]

I won't. [Her voice shakes lightly for a second, before she clears her throat, and smiles at him with tears in her eyes.] I'm not going anywhere. I won't leave. I won't disappear. They can't make me.

[She sniffles.] I'll be here until the very end, whenever that is!
