18,717 / 50,000 (1,283 behind, but I have high hopes for tomorrow)
Night at home... watched three episodes of "Buffy" with my sister, ate Chinese food and super-good ice cream (pumpkin pie flurry, yum!)... heading back tomorrow after lunch (waffles). Tonight I get to sleep in my parents' bed (memory foam, whoo!), do my laundry for free, take a shower with the huge shower-head.
I had two great conversations last night. During the writing of my film paper, my cousin Katie called out of the blue and we talked for about 45 minutes. She was watching "Ever After," a film that we used to love to watch together (and reenact, but I'm not going to admit that). We talked about our plans for the holidays and next semester (although she's out of college).
Then after I was done I called Katesham, and we talked for about an hour. It was spectacular. Among the things we discussed - VHS snobbery, the University of Whedon, the Tao of Glau, mustaches or the lack thereof, tackling women... we could have gone on for awhile more but the whole conversation degenerated into giggles. I miss her lots.
