Tell me about an experience in your life that was so perfect or so bad that it seemed unreal

Even the best fall down sometimes. Even the wrong words seem to rhyme. Out of the doubt that fills my mind, I somehow find...you and I collide.

Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar? IT WAS YOU, WASN'T IT!!! YOU COOKIE STEALING BASTARD!! lol. jk. What's happenin kids? Well, things are ok, but I'll explain things as usual. Anywho, two things...from now on, I'll be putting a lyric to a song at the beginning of each entry. I'll put the band/artist, and if you want to know the name of the song...ask me. The other thing is that I only got like two people to actually answer the questions last week, so lets do our best to answer the question this time. It's real simple. I don't know how many of you all have had this kind of experience, but have you ever had something happen or been somewhere, heard or seen something so perfect that it seemed too good to be true or so bad that it seemed unreal? If yes, explain. Have fun.

Well, with NHI, things are really stressful. I'm doing all this business and fundraising and training, and I'm stressing alot. I'm just praying things fall into place so that I can relax and have some fun. Training is going ok in most categories. I went to the CX meeting today, and it was ok. Some kids seem more into it than others, but whatever. Then later on, I went to an oratory meeting, and they're really working hard. They messed around a little bit towards the end, but I think it wasn't too bad. For the most part, they've always been the group that is most disciplined...I know they'll do well. Most of the kids in NHI are working hard, but some don't go to meetings and come up with some pretty stupid excuses. Whatever. It's their experience...not mine. I hope everyone gets what they deserve when it comes to competition...those that worked hard do well and those that didn't...well you can figure it out. We'll have to see what happens.

With God, things are better. We had our Tuesday Bible study, but we really didn't have too many people and we didn't really look at the Bible this week. We all have been feeling really distant from God, so we all kinda talked about that and what we plan on doing to fix that and what we plan on doing next year in regards to teaching. It was really good. I had a good time and I'm hoping we can continue to meet so we can all start having something more than just Mass on Sundays. Praying is good, but lately things are rough and I've really been asking God to give some understanding and patience. I know He'll help me out.

Musically, things are alright. Me and Dan were both kinda feeling weird today, so I went over, and we just played a whole bunch of cover songs. It was really awesome. We played happy songs, but we played a whole lot more sad songs. We felt better afterwards. Another awesome thing was that we got to see 6 Under Par play their first show in like 6 months. They were great. The awesome thing was that it was Dan's first real show. I'm glad I got to be the one who took him. LOL. In regards to our own music, me and Dan are really excited and are finishing up our last 3 or 4 songs so we can start our recording process. It'll take a while and we're hoping to finish before school starts. We're also looking for shows to play. I'll be out of town from like the 21 to Aug 2, but after that, we want to play alot. We just want to get heard. So again, if anyone has any shows...let us know. But like always...I'll keep you all posted.

In the girl department...well there's not much to say. I'll leave it at that for now.

Well guys, that's it. I hope you had fun reading up on what's going on in the wonderful world o' Art. Things are a little rough, but I'm sure there's a great Master plan going on. I guess we all have to wait and see what happens. But for now, remember that sometimes things don't end up the way you want, but you can't turn your back on things right away. You never know what can happen in the future...plus, patience is a great virtue from what I hear. I'll have to try it out. Take care and God bless guys.
