First day of school always sucks huh
What's shakin kids? Well, it hasn't been too long since I've updated, but I'm here at work, bored as hell, so why not...right.....time for an update.
Well, first of all, this is my hell week....UTEP, Ft. Bliss, and the Bookstore. Pray I don't go crazy and die.
Well the NHI banquet was pretty nice...nice little meal, nice to see everyone, nice little awards ceremony, and then I left, so I don't know how the dance went. But yeah....fun fun.
Confirmation starts in a couple weeks or so...yeah. I'm pretty excited...a little worried though. I wonder how the "Administration" will handle our class...eh. Whatever.
Alexa and I are doing awesome. We've been "talking" for like 2 months now, and it's been unbelievable. I love her.....hey, alexa... yeah... you....I love you. So yeah....great gal. Pray things stay good for us....well how bout this...just pray for us : )
SWEET HEREAFTER UPDATE:
Ok, so I know I've been saying we are going to record, but today, Dan and I are supposed to record. It's nothing fancy, but as far as we know, the September 1 show is still on, so we're trying to add drums. So, we're going to record so our potential drummers can listen to our songs and see if they can add some stuff. So we're making some really really rough copies of our songs that mostly likely won't be heard by anyone but the drummers, Dan, and myself...that's it. But yeah...should be interesting to hear our music with drums. I'll keep you all posted.
Well, the farewell to Laurie was nice. I'll miss her. And if you were wondering how the solo show went, well, it kinda never happened. My mic cord was messed up and so we didn't have a mic. So Hugo and I just messed around with our guitars and played like 2 or 3 songs together...that's about it. The highlight was our rendition of The Early November song "The Course of Human Life." It was nice. So yeah.
OK....now for the most exciting news...news I've been waiting for for all my life.
THE EARLY NOVEMBER IS COMING TO EL PASO SATURDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2005!!!!
NOT ONLY THAT, BUT THEY WILL BE COMING WITH SAY ANYTHING, SENSES FAIL, AND SAVES THE DAY!!!!
You guys better go to this show. In fact I'm going to this one and the one the night before in Albuquerque. But at least go to the show here. I swear, if you don't go, I'll wake up every morning, wait by your door and punch you square in the f***in' mouth every time you step outside your door. I promise this will be an amazing show...YEAH!!!
