pro-choice... y? well because every woman has the right to decide what she wants to do w/her body, i think peoples opinions on this subject are greatly connected to their beliefs, if they are not particularly religiouse then it is connected to their belief of whether or not they believe the fetus is part of the womans body or its own separate being.

woman are going to preform abortions where it is legalized or not, i, personally would feel better knowing that woman are haveing these procedures done in a safe, sterilized environment rather then dangerously, in makeshift clinics as was done years before.

and as was commented on, if the birth of a child would endanger the health, or life of that child or woman, is it best to take precautions, or let those lives linger in peril?

and what if a woman is the victim of a rape, and she becomes pregnant, should she have to live w/a constant reminder of that abuse?

of course abortion is not the answer to every unexpected pregnant womans problems, i believe that the choice should be examined thorouly and all the options should be weighed. as well i think their should be a source, such as a therapist, for these woman debating abortion to make sure they are having the procedure done for the proper/valid reasons. this is also done w/plastic surgery patients to make sure they dont over do it.
