All quiet on the western front..
Only just realised that I haven't posted in a while. I am indeed still alive and ticking along.
Feels like I start every entry like that lately. I hope not, that would be boring.. I'll have to check when I'm done here.
If there's anything I promised anyone I would do, any pictures I said I'd post or any stories I said I'd tell... please remind me, as I am aware there were promises made.. I just can't remember any of them! XD
Seems I'm almost free of the numbing fug that clogged up my brain after all that surgery business. Feeling more like myself again.... whatever the fuck that feels like. Feeling very... aware of things, of space and time, and the lack of things to fill it. :/
Tried to type out a long description of every weird thing that's happened, every little bit of news, between my birthday and now... but there really is just too much to mention! Got a load of weird presents, hung out with some brilliant people, but none of it is really interesting enough to inflict upon you unsuspecting people, so I'll leave it.
Finally went to visit my Dad this weekend, and we had our little Christmas. It really didn't feel anything like Christmas, but I'm still glad to have seen him. He asked me what I wanted as my Christmas present and I just mentioned I'd been thinking of maybe getting an iPhone.
Honestly, all I was expecting was a donation towards the cost of one, but no... he whisks me off to the shops, with me half-heartedly protesting the whole way, and before I even know whats happening he's gone and bought me a 32GB iPhone.
It cost £549. I feel slightly disgusted with myself. XD
I now own 3 iPods.

Anyway, went back to work this morning after exactly 3 weeks off sick.
It was weird being back, but apart from being knackered and hungry - got far too used to snacking through the day, gotta stop that - it was an alright day. Didn't even think it was gonna happen at all because of all the snow we got today!
Our town is by the sea so we normally NEVAR see snow. Woke up today and it was just...white everywhere! We live at the bottom of a hill and the road was so icy that most of our neighbours couldn't even drive their way out!
I'm sure there was other news but hey, I've taken up far too much of your time as it is... Hope all you peoples out there are doing good!
