Haha, so I sent this picture to my sister, and was like, "Look, how pretty! Isn't it neat and philosophical?"
Her response: "You can tell it wasn't Joss Whedon who did the sign, because then it would have read 'what if the one that got away never came back?'."
I kinda love how Joss Whedon has a thing for heartbreak. :-)
(Unrelated except not quite: I would LOVE for Joss Whedon to take over Glee, but I fear the damage is too extensive for even him to be able to turn it around)
LOL. But yeah, that would sound like a Whedon show, & he does have a thing for heartbreak & tragedy.
IA that Glee's probably too badly damaged for even Whedon to save, & I'm not sure that he'd really want to get involved with Fox a third time after the treatment Firefly & Dollhouse got from them. (Fun fact- the subtitle of the TV Tropes entry about shows that were sabotaged by their network is "A.K.A. The Firefly Effect") :)
Such, such SUCH a shame that Dollhouse got canceled, because it kept getting better as the series progressed. There were so many moments of that show that basically confirmed Joss Whedon = God. So, so so so good.
