It’s not that I don’t admire you any more. It’s that I never did in the first place.

That’s the bigger issue, you see. It’s that you didn’t manage to convince me. I never trusted you or your intentions and the problem is, I’m part of an audience that does need to be persuaded. I do need to believe your actions are genuine.

I don’t believe you, and I don’t believe in you.

Because here’s the thing: I believe in making a difference. I believe in actually being a part of something that’s bigger, and doing it because you can’t imagine not doing it. I believe in the good in people. I believe that people are capable of changing the world, of saving the world.

What a hypocrite you are! How dare you talk about making a difference because the one chance you had at doing exactly that - you took it back. You had the chance to actually make an impact on someone, on making things ok for a little bit; instead, you chose to save your own career.

We live many, many miles away from each other and I honestly believe that’s a good thing. I want nothing to do with you. Stay out of my world - you already made it pretty clear you don’t care about it. So why should I care about you?
