However, you have come to share with the legions of INQUISITIVE ROLEPLAYERS the need to fill up the HOMESTUCK cast at the Livejournal community fondly named soul_campaign. You tell the ROLEPLAYERS that you would be more than happy to accomodate any questions they may have.

What is this? An advertisement for a COMM-BASED ROLEPLAY based on the popular anime and manga SOUL EATER? Well that could be interesting. There is, after all, a lot of potential for CHARACTER RELATIONS with the WEAPON AND MEISTER partnership system in play. And there is an OVERARCHING PLOT too! It seems to be MEDIUM PACED, just perfect for your needs.
But, you say, you want to run some PLAYER-DRIVEN PLOTS as well. You may be someone that likes to have lots of irons in the fire. If this is the case, you should type "> Be Vriska" right now (just kidding, she smells like musclebeast leavings.) In any case, you are in luck! Despite a game-wide plot that has to do with WITCHES and EVIL PEOPLE and COLLECTIN' SOULS there is plenty of room for WACKY SHENANIGANS.

soul_campaign is a mid-sized, mid-paced comm-based game based in the world of Soul Eater. Characters are dragged from their worlds into this world and asked to fight in a war against some hot chicks called Witches who are totally evil and shit. Despite the war -- and the intense drama that it produces -- there is still room to kick back with, say, some rude elixir and get your zone on. Meaning, there is plenty of opportunity to socialise and build CR.
Unique to SC is the WEAPON-MEISTER system. Characters are either granted the power to transform into a kickass Weapon, or the power to wield said Weapon in battle as a Meister. Teaming up with a buddy and forming this bond will grant you the strength to fight the baddies and save the day! (Or, if you are the villainous type, there are less tangible ways to get down with your superbad self...) In any case, between partner-seekin', Witch-fightin', mission-completin', and the general day-to-day excitement of living in a city where the sun and moon grin down at you, faces and all, there is no lack of things to do and a generally delirious sicknasty time is to be had all around.
Reserves are currently OPEN and applications will be processed on DECEMBER 16th! Reserves can be CHALLENGED if you are feeling so bold, so go ahead, look around for awhile! We promise you'll like what you see.
