snowed in
If anyone has been watching the weather channel you might know that Vanessa, Jason, and I are currently snowed in our house. It started snowing yesterday around 11:00 am and just recently stopped this evening. We have about 2 1/2 feet on the ground right now. Since we can't drive anywhere we decided that we would play around in the snow to appease the child within us.
I'm not as young as I used to be. Running around in the snow is a freakin workout man.
My car is completely covered in snow, and after all the running around, I didn't have the energy to uncover it.
The Olive Garden opportunity isn't looking so great. I went to the 2nd interview to meet the GM, and she wasn't so nice. I have a huge conflict between their training days and the rehearsal days with Izumi. The GM basically told me to come back when I know for sure that I can get out of rehearsal to start learning the OG way. I think I'm going to give that option up.
Izumi said that it wouldn't be wise to skip the rehearsals since we haven't fully integrated into the cast.
Needless to say…the hunt isn't over.
And I'm running out of money fast. Now I don't want to resort to lowly standards and take up a slummy position of the night, but if it's necessary, I will pimp jason out.
I've been doing the 30 day shred for 5 days and I feel pretty good about it.
I really miss Logs. I was doing pretty good for the past week and half, but now it's starting to get depressing. I don't know when we are going to be able to see each other. I don't even know if he is ever going to see the current house I live in, nor if any of you will see the current home situation. Money sucks. I think he feels a lot of pressure to get down here because he makes a slew more than I do at the moment, but I don't know what's feasible anymore. He's going on a poker cruise to deal cards. Hopefully he'll be able to make some money there for his trip to Boston, and his trip to see me? His birthday is soon and I want to surprise him!
Things get a little harder everyday.
We bought a cheap handle of vodka in preparation for the snow. I currently have two really big pots of water on the counter incase our pipes freeze. It's supposed to get to 13 tonight.
