Pretty much. They're completely annoying. And trust me, the test is typically easy peasy. Most of the written exam is Dueling knowledge, rules, and trivia. Look at it this way. You've beaten Juudai in multiple duels. He passed the exam, so why can't you? You've already proven you could beat his ass in the practical.

Oh, I'm not worried about the practical exam. Ignoring an act of god, I'm pretty sure I'll do great there.

Just the last time I took any sort of written test, I was barely getting into my teenage years.

I do recommend a tutor at least. I can think of... maybe two? Though one might not make sense and the other might of dumped it from her memory.
