VOTE FOR MY MOVIE
On October 13th, Jeremy White, Lindsey Mason and I entered the Insomnia Film Festival. It is a student film contest where you have 24 hours to shoot a 3-minute film. Our film is titled "The Hopeless Romantic." From 9am-830am (23 1/2 hours!) we worked on this 3-minute feature. We are EXTREMELY PROUD of this project because it is not just a theme/single scene. With the help of Ed Morgan and Joe Hyman, we were able to write, film, and edit a 3-minute narrative (beginning, middle and end). This was very hard to pull off but it came out great! At 9am we were given a list of film items (angles, props, dialogue, etc) and we had to pick 3! This just adds to how difficult this project was and how pleased we are that the film came out so great!
The contest is based around votes! There are 1900 entries and the TOP 25 get reviewed by professional directors/judges. We REALLY WANT TO MAKE IT TO TOP 25 BECAUSE:
1) we could win!
2) we get the reviews/critiques back from the judges and we really want to get their criticism
