My sister just called

My sister called to tell me that my grandma called her more than two weeks ago to tell her she's had cancer, surgery, and a heart attack in the last six months. Still no word to me from my grandma, my grandpa, my aunt (who knows), my uncle (who knows), or my cousin (who knows and is 16). My sister just told me that I should not be upset or sad. That everything hurts my feelings.

Shouldn't I be hurt by my grandma being sick and no one telling me?
