evan wrote this for me some time in may this year, before he left for some thousand miles away from here. beautiful, ain't it? would you write another one for me? teehee.

It was on that old avenue that silly girl
With the sweetest smile and dreams a'whirl
Wishing for something new
Upon the morning dew
And I guessed it was for someone who was real.

Yet no one knows what it's like
To feel how she feels and all she's like
Is she akin to season's fall?
Or not the slightest bit at all?
And the reason she was waiting for that phone call?

Wistful hopes and forlorn dreams
Those tears flowing but as trickled streams
Is she sad?
About something bad?
It was love unrequited that set her back.

But those dreams aren't as empty
For love's but a'plenty
As love's a vengeance
A sweet smell of fragrance
In this cruel world of our own grievance.

It was all those hurts and pains
That made it worth all the gains
Of the end, she had but no clue
On the 6th, i know this was true
For I tell you, I was living there too.
