Nice Weekend
I had a really nice weekend. Friday, Love, our friend Rand and I went out to eat. Yummiest steak ever. Had a nice time and generally felt super special.
(Our friend Rand went too, but I figured he probably didn't want to be on my site, so this just shows Love and I.)
I got the complete dvd boxed set of Angel on dvd, a really lovely Glass Tea Pot and cash to buy myself my choice of a new digital camera. My current one, while still functional, is showing it's age as I got it for my birthday in 2004. (It's a Nikon Coolpix 3700 3.2 megapixel.) I'm leaning towards the Canon PowerShot SD1100.
Saturday we hit WDW. I had a blast. And, I got so many lovely little birthday wishes from the cast members. At Cosmic Ray's we stopped for dinner and she gave me a free iced tea and a chocolate cake. She actually gave us two chocolate cakes because the containers were stuck together. Later, I stopped to get myself a bottle of water and an ice cream bar for Love and the cast member gave them to me for free and wished me a Happy Birthday. That's the amazing thing about Disney. They go out of their way to really ensure they do the little "extras" that make your day all the much more amazing and fun.

Sunday we totally vegged. I wanted to hit Best Buy to look at the camera I'm interested in person but we didn't make it that far. We were just beat. We figure we walked something like 13 miles Saturday and we were all exhausted. I napped much of the day and so did Love. It really takes it out of you to wander around the parks for all those hours. They were open until midnight too, so it was a long day.
Tomorrow I go over to Mom's and have my family birthday celebration. Complete with my second birthday cake! Love and Rand got me an amazing fruit overload cake. It's delicious and full to the brim of all these awesome fruits.
How yummy does that look?
Speaking of which, I think I'll go have a slice. I'll wrap up here and probably call it a night pretty soon myself. I'll finally get to the stuff waiting for me in my post office box tomorrow when I see Mom (first time all month) and she reports there's some cards waiting for me. (Yay!) Thanks for everyone's birthday wishes. It's been a really great weekend and a very fun birthday all-around.
