Wacky Wednesday
There's really actually nothing particularly wacky about it, but I couldn't think of a title, so that's what I went with. Perhaps I should have gone with "Weird Weather Wednesday" because that at least would be accurate, but too late now.
I really need to stop doing these "I've forgotten to post for like a week so here's a ton of crap to catch-up on" entries. Until such time as I stop, however, here's another one. Ha!
The Flu That Never Was No, really, there's not a whole lot to report. Thankfully, the flu that was threatening never arrived. Sure, Love felt bleck for about four or five days and had some stomach upset and such, but he never got runny nose, sore throat, fever kind of ill. Just tired and a little run down. Which is more than I got. I was tired for a few days and that was about that. So good news on that front.
Weather Woes And speaking of fronts (ok, that was an admittedly weak transition) there's a cold one hitting Florida. The winds are just whipping out there and it's only around 55F (12.7C) outside today which may not sound cold for those of you in northern climates, but seeing as it's been pretty steadily around 80F (26.6C) for several weeks now, this is quite a change for us. AND it's supposed to get to freezing (and below) in some areas North of me! Brr! That's pretty cold. It's only a one day thing though as we'll be well back up towards 80F by the weekend again.
Craftastic I've been doing some new crafty projects lately. Signed up for the "All Things Disney" swap and the "Decorate My House" swap over on Craftster. So I've been busy with those. Well, just the Disney one so far because while I've come up with the project I'm going to do for the Decorate My Home one, I don't have the materials yet. It's again a new type of craft for me which is always fun. I also put up a Flickr gallery with some of the assorted craft projects I've done for various swaps over the years. Of course this isn't everything (and of course, it doesn't count the entire PhoenixFire Designs website full of stuff for sale!) but I thought it was fun to show off some of the crafty stuff I've made to give away.
Vlogging, vlogging, vlogging Well, I was trying to stall until the latest vlog got uploaded so I could do a vlog link dump too but it's taking forever. So instead, I'll just point out that there are some new videos on my youtube channel. Feel free to check 'em out. (The results of the old roll of 35mm film from 2001 is the video uploading right now, so if you were curious about it, check out the channel in a little bit to see what happened to that film!)
...And I think that just about covers it. I really didn't have anything terribly exciting to report but thought I should at least check in. Hope everyone's well!
