Checking In
Just a quickie post since I haven't made one in a bit again. I never seem to get around to writing them over the weekend. A good friend of ours - Wandering Monk - is back State-side through December after having made the move to England. We went out to dinner Saturday night and he's coming by this evening. It's good to see him again and I know Love's thrilled too.
Didn't sleep worth a damn last night. No idea why. Wound up coming in for the afternoon shift instead of the longer day (when I do a "full" day, I come in around 10am so I have time to accomidate my stomach which really hates mornings.) But I'll be back tomorrow and probably Wednesday.
Thursday is the rehersal dinner. And of course, Friday's my sister's wedding. I swear, I'm stupidly nervous. I guess it's several things. Between it being my sister (whom I never thought would marry) to actually being in the wedding and having responsibilities, it's much more nerve-wracking then just attending one. But I did pick up her gift and my altered dress on Saturday. Oh, which reminds me, dammit, I need to take Love's suit jacket in to be dry cleaned. Bah! I still have to make the necklaces and earrings for the MoH and myself, though I did get my mom's done. Time is sneaking up on me here....
I think there was something else I wanted to mention but now, well, it elludes me. So instead I think I'll just hit post and call 'er done. I'm a big whirlwind of need-to-get-dones right now and my memory is shot. Heh.
