I totally forgot to mention in today's entry that my cd burner died. Yup, dead. Gone. No more. A former burner. This sucks for many reasons. First off, I no longer have a cd rom drive in my pc now at all. It was my only one. Secondly, dammit, I can't burn anything. And third of course, it's another expense to replace that I just don't have. Which totally stinks.
What I really want to get to replace it is a dvd burner. There's really no point in spending $40 on a cd-r/rw drive when I can get a dual layer dvd-r/rw drive for like $50-70. Not to mention I desperately need to do backups anyway and I can't do it only on a 750 meg cd.
So, bah. It really stinks not having a cd drive.
Edit Man...I need $40. I can get one that has a good pc world review (in their top 5 internal dvd burners) for about $40. Check out the price grabber page here to see what I mean.
Dammit. If I could sell like 2 pairs of horns I could get it. Anyone want to buy some horns for halloween?
