What People Need (purchase list for Hunnigan)
((OOC: I'm assuming Yoko is the techie/nerd for the reformed STARS, seeing as how she was on the roster back when this idea was first germinated. If anyone has an issue with this, I'll delete this entry. Just give me heads-up on here, okay? Thanks, guys! And by the way? This idea of reforming STARS = awesome in a boat.))
For the offices, I'm thinking the latest computer OS systems. I wonder what STRATCOM has on tap computer system-wise. It is the government, after all. And the FBI's systems only work on a one keyword system. Which debilitates its abilities to keep track of people I suppose trying to track down Doctor Birkin would take them through every William on the planet.
A wireless router would also be good. Maybe wi-fi, so people can access anything on the 'Net inside the building. Oh, and the latest in encryption and decryption programs. We don't want anything falling into Umbrella's hands. Or whoever else is out there that would like to see STARS dissolve back into oblivion.
This isn't going to cost a lot, is it? I can chip in part of my paycheck at the college if need be. It's not much compared to the federal government's spending budget, but I don't want to seem like I'm mooching off of you or your colleagues, Miss Hunnigan.
