Moving Back In
As much as she loved staying with Kevin, Yoko was glad to be back in her own little room again. She had just moved back into the apartment, having said a quick good-bye to Kevin before PINpointing out. The afternoon had been spent setting everything straight again and making sure none of her (very few) possessions had been lost in the renovation. Everything, thankfully, was accounted for.
That over with, Yoko was sitting on the couch with a beat-up old copy of The Eyre Affair. She's reading it and occasionally glancing up to see what Sputnik's up to. There's a half-empty glass of lemonade next to Yoko, along with the remains of a turkey sandwich. Moving back in is amazingly tough work, after all. That, and she was hungry at the time.
"I wonder where Rebecca is..."
