I've been reading my brother's blog recently (without him knowing) and I conclude that his personality online and in real life is totally different. Like, omg, my brother's like that?! Haha, and I wonder if my personality is also different online and in real life. Any opinions from friends in real life

yep currently using finding out about JET as a reason to get away from studying. LOL. thanks!!! MUST go well!! haha :)
The SOP would be translating, then timing, typesetting, editing, QC, encode then release. I do translating and sometimes timing :) if you join a subbing team you can just do translation (most teams lack them! do you want to join TFS?! LOL). I'm not very sure about this, but some teams may have deadlines, such that each process have to be completed within a certain time. Especially so for new videos. TFS is very nice because there's no time pressures, so I can take on a video and sit on it for very long ;;;
for translation, the main problem for me is expression i think. most of the time I know what it means, but I don't know how to properly express it in english. then there are times when i just cannot decipher what they are talking about lol.

ehh.. i think you just sound more emo in your blog, but other than that you are quite the same in real life..
I think if I really do join, I'll prob just do translation since I dun know, and dun really wanna learn how to use the programmes..lazy.. haha
but TFS subs mainly toma videos right?! haha, there's this new V6 subbing team coming up, thinking of joining that though.. arashi has tooooo many subbing teams already.. V6 needs some love.. haha
actually me too, sometimes its soooo difficult to properly express stuff in English.. like you know what it means but to explain it in Englih is another thing!

We do mainly toma, but don't mind doing others XD but usually toma-related la hee. Also because other groups have other teams subbing them. (esp arashi, yes. haha) Join the V6 group! I think subbing is just fun overall la, as long as it doesn't add pressure haha. :) And it can really improve your Japanese when you have to check the dictionary for some words you don't know. Or when you find out about some 'new' Japanese words :)

All the best!! subbing will be fun esp when you have free time heee.
I think it would have helped for the translation module... I wasn't watching a lot of j-dramas yet when I took that module that's why I was struggling :x but that module also has eng >> jpn, which was what killed me the most LOL.
JS3208 is only my 3rd paper... D: got 2 more on 7th and 8th :( i is miserable.
