Finland won the Ice Hockey Championship and the whole country is having the time of its life! :D Yesterday after the game we went to Helsinki torille and it was after midnight and the streets were BUZZING. There was a huge rush of cars honking and waving the Finnish flags, people cheering and running around hugging random people and yelling 'SUOMIII!' :D At the marketsquare there were probably thousands of people, just like at Vappu (May Day), gathered around Havis Amanda's fountain, on top of and in it :D It was amazing :D
YEAH! Today it starts up again! The Gold Party starts at 18 and the players arrive at the square at about 20 o'clock. Wohoo!
