Title: The Oncoming Storm (Prologue)
Genres: Cross-over, Adventure
Ratings: PG
Who: Who indeed!
Summary: Someone Jun knows is in (very, very) danger.

He's kind of like Sho, speaking very rapidly and in depth about things that no average human being would care about in a manner that suggests he thinks it's something everyone would find fascinating. But then, he's also sort of like Aiba, with an obvious curiosity behind his eyes and a boyish smile that makes it difficult to refuse him anything.

Matsujun would probably be in love with him, if it weren't for the fact that these were brand new pants and he wasn't sure how much it would cost to have them dry cleaned. Unidentifiable hot pink sludge... goop... "my little pony" vomit was probably not the easiest of substances to remove.

"I wouldn't be angry with you if it had been an accident, but I watched you jump out of that... thing and aim right at me," Jun tried to argue with the man once more, already getting the feeling that he was going to lose. It was frighteningly similar to an argument with Nino. How could you fight someone who refused to stay on topic?

"Not an accident, no, I wouldn't say it was accidental, though I wasn't trying to aim for your trousers. I had no intention of letting my tracking device explode and I certainly wasn't aware that the reaction would be so... pink. Well then, clearly a lot of mistakes, but no coincidences. Not sure I believe in coincidences."

"I admit, your Japanese is impressive, but if you're trying - "

"Oh, I'm not speaking Japanese," the man waved his hand dismissively, pointing at the box behind him, "but this makes you think ... let's do this bit later, shall we? Bigger on the inside, not from around here, someone you know is in danger, in fact... someone you know is putting the whole world in danger, and that is going to stain."

Matsujun couldn't explain why he didn't defend himself. Why a space that couldn't fit two people comfortably was somehow encapsulating an entire movie set, sending a chill down his spine, his hand twitching next to his jeans pocket. Maybe it would have been a good idea to pull out his cellphone and inform his manager that he'd just been taken hostage by a man who was definitely not named John Suzuki and was already, quite possibly, using psychological warfare against him. Mind games were the only logical reason for Matsujun's uncharacteristic cooperation.

"Which... person I know?" he asked, eyes locked on the stranger, who was busy pushing a lot of seemingly unnecessary buttons. Matsujun was almost positive nothing was actually being accomplished with the pulling of levers either.

"The Captain."

There were only two logical reasons for Matsujun's uncharacteristic cooperation. Ohno Satoshi's life had been in danger several times in the past, but if this time was more serious than any of those other times...

"I think there's someone else you should... contact."

A/N: A brief introduction to a story in my brain that will simply have to be written, most likely in sporadic chapters and secondary to other fiction. At least I've got myself a start now. :D
