I handed in my MA portfolio on Friday, which means that my Master's degree is now officially over! I have to wait til mid October to get my results, but it's all done. And it's so nice to be able to sit down and watch telly or read a book and not have to do any work.
I am currently curled up in my chair, with a cat curled up on my lap, watching Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall cooking winter food on River Cottage. I made pollock, spinach and egg pie with garlic potatoes (pulled from my own garden) for tea last night as I had friends visiting, and we fillowed it up with apple crumble made with apples from my friends' garden.
We went for a walk earlier and it was a lovely, sunny day with a slight breeze and just a hint of autumn in the air. The leaves are turning, the last of the blackberries are big and lush and ever so sweet, and the sun turns the mountains orange when it hits them.
All in all, today, I am feeling content.

happy,
