(no subject)
These past fews days I've been hanging out with zappagirl at her place. We've had myopic over, along with my long time friend, Zack. ShadowBlasko also spent some time over here. We've sat around, bullshitted, smoked many a clove and camel, drank, dosed up on caffeine, drank some more, and in general had a silly good time. We even got a game of Cranium in, which was a blast, I <3 that game very much so in fact.
I dyed my hair tonight, good ole red that most people know me with (I don't know if I'll ever do black again, or really anything except for red, with the occasional purple or purple highlights... MAYBE). It isn't quite dry yet, so it's hard to tell whether it's a train wreck or not, but I think it should be quite dandy, same dye allotment I've used for years. I think I'm getting my hair trimmed in a few days, since it's short and all now. Although I've had it short for quite a while now, it was long for such an incredibly long time, it's really hard for me to know what to do with short hair. It's like, always been long, heh.
I may be starting up this new job relatively soon, not positive, so I reveal nothing just yet (though I've told quite a few people, I enjoy being a shit to those who don't know bwahahahahaha). Things are tight at the moment, so it should definitely help out. Although some tardo made a snide comment in his blog implying I don't work, I am gonna just rub his nose in some shit regardless. I'm not big on drama so much, but I definitely do enjoy watching it from the side, it's a curse really. I am fascinated by human behavior, so the opportunity to observe the human condition, any opportunity really, I will almost always take. For years, if I was bored, I might start an on line argument with someone, just for the observation factors. Well, I didn't start this one, but I'm definitely feeding it. Just enough to keep me amused with something silly and unimportant, what can I say?
Myopic discovered an 80's prom thing occuring at Gillian's this evening, so she, zappagirl, Zack, and I are going to attend. From what I can tell, everyone is dressing up for it. I'm going for a 'Judd Nelson' in 'The Breakfast Club' style, which yes, I know, it's kinda cheap and lazy, but it's something I can pull off without too much work. I've even got a diamond stud in my ear, not sure I can pull everything else off, but I'll do what I can. This should be loads of fun, the music, the costumes (if people dress up), the style, everything, it's just a blast. We even watched "The Breakfast Club" to set the mood, I brought the "John Hughes - High school Box set" over for reference material, which includes, "The Breakfast Club", "Weird Science", and "Sixteen Candles". We rented "Pretty In Pink" 'n more, however we didn't get the chance to watch them all, but "The Breakfast Club" definitely loaned to the mood, so good times.
zappagirl dubbed the little kitty "deedee" as "Pocket Kitty" and I did, "PK" for short. Which makes sense, she's the tiniest of the litter, she probably won't get much larger and well... she's just pocket size! She's got an adorable little tale, not very long, but the japanese bobtail and siamese in her, lends it a little curve at the end, almost like a little club. Though she can bust a little serpentine action with it, she primarily wags it in a very stiff manner, which reminds me greatly of a windshield wiper. It's adorable, so she's also referred to as the "little windshield wiper kitty". I just have strong urges to mount her to the bag of my vehicle since I don't have a rear wiper. She'd definitely earn her keep that way!
Well, I should probably dress 'n make telephone calls for this little shindig going on, gotta dig up an old jean jacket, find the correct trench coat, see if I can't find an old pair of combat boots that won't try to eat my feet, style my hair as best as I can at it's current length, and see if I have a scarf that's appropriate. I'd also have to dig up some fingerless gloves, I'm gonna have to see if some pictures can't be done for this soire'e.
