Do you have any or know where I might find recipes for nutritious dishes that could be prepared at home in -- hum, thirty minutes to an hour? I'm trying to incorporate healther and more filling meals into my daily routine by, uh, preparing healthy, filling lunches to bring to work the night before I go to work. Pasta and vegetables makes for a very healthy lunch actually. I know it's "homg pasta caloriez D:" but really, it's not that bad, there's a reason why Italian people are still all energetic, happy and healthy when they're old - they know how to eat well!
Pasta, Italian style, takes around 15 minutes to make.
Vegetables usually half an hour. Cooking them traditionally is easy enough too but I prefer just slicing whatever vegetable I want to eat that day, put a teensy bit of cheese and spices on them and leaving them in the oven for 20 minutes. They taste yummy and are ridiculously healthy.
That way you can eat a different vegetable everyday if you want to - or you can just grill basically any kind of meat (just make sure you buy grill-able stuff from the butcher/super-market) on a non-oiled pan. Just put them on the pan, nothing else needed, and wait 'till one side is done to switch. Takes a maximum of 20 minutes to be done with meat enough for one person's meal.
So, even if you don't do them at the same time (which you can, pasta's ridiculously self-cooking), neither option takes over an hour. Very very healthy too - you might lose weight though (I've lost 17 pounds so far, in two and a half months) so if you don't want to lose weight, make sure you eat some sugar/chocolate with that.
Sorry for the long-ness. I've just gone healthy-living a few months ago myself, so rather excited about this stuff. >____>;;
