((I always feel as if I've missed something. Was there, er, an announcement about what this was?))

Somehow, there is a young child (and an orange piggy) right outside his jail cell. Doubtlessly, they had snuck in somehow since children were, of course, not allowed in places like these.

Takeru and Patamon don't say anything. They only stare, instead, very hard at Ian's face as if searching for something.

Ian, although normally not a very crabby individual, had been through a very rough day, and did not want some little kid glaring him in the face.

"What is it?" he said, annoyed.

He looked up in surprise. "Did they--what? No! What are you talking about? Believe me, being scribbled on with a laser would be much better than this situation."

Ian raised an eyebrow in confusion. He wasn't entirely sure what this kid was saying, but he was more stimulating than staring at a wall day.

"In one respect, yes. But you get lasered once, and it's over. I'm here for twenty-five years."
