(
Nothing 'holy' about it~ )
Very, very slowly.
His initial reaction to the memory was shock. He was married?! Sure D was very handsome, had a kind heart, had a wonderful physique, was a hard worker and could provid-- NO! The fact of the matter was he was married. He was only eighteen right? Or were there memories of the future that were being obscured? Or maybe he was a lot older, vampires aged quite gracefully after all.
But to...D? He was already proving difficult to try to get close to, let alone even get along with well enough to be friends, though he really wanted to ( ... )

And then,D found him doing something odd. Something odd fashioned, traditional.
As Takuma started to the table, he actually rose to his feet, standing. The motion was almost instinctual. D's lilac gaze was focused on him, as if the blond was the only one in the cafe. The sable-haired man felt something in his stomach--those same butterflies that Takuma was feeling. He almost felt weak in the knees. And Takuma was blushing, his face pink, just like the day of their wedding...
Their wedding. Their union ( ... )

"...Have a seat," He instructed, gesturing to the chair.

He rested his hands on the table, his long fingers curled underneath his palm. His ring only stood out more as he did that, budding out from he start of his finger like a crystallized blossom.
Honestly, he didn't know where to begin with this conversation besides. "Ah...sooo...."

D knew by the looks of things, he'd have to start this conversation, somehow. He was lucky, he felt, that Lefty was silent for the moment. Perhaps he was more interested in listening in than providing any of his own helpful verbiage.
But what to say?
"...Takuma... ah..." Well, so much for starting out anything. D was usually straightforward, but now, he was fumbling. He wondered if the blush he knew was beginning he started to show on his face.
"...We... we need to decide what to do with the newly... acquired information," D stated, nodding.

He glanced up at D through his long lashes then looked back down at the table. He did this a couple of times before letting out a breath.
"Well...we have...a few options", he started. "We can...ah...pretend that this never happened...just go along with it...or try to figure out...why...we are married to each other" A part of him told him to go along with it because it was the undeniable truth! The memories, the feelings, the pitter patter of both of their hearts beating in unison~!
The other part of him wanted to crawl under his bed and sleep forever.
"Wh-what would you like to do, lo--", he caught himself before the word rolled off of his tongue. That was a close one.

Love...
D closed his eyes. he lifted a hand to his mouth, clearing his throat, embarrassed. Now,it was undeniable, and his cheeks were flushed, adding color to his usually moon pale, serious-but-beautiful face.
"The third option is no good... we haven't remembered much else other than getting married..." There were a few other details that D had obtained, how they had met, the fact Ichijou had been thrown back from the year of the nuclear war... but all the important details, the whys, the hows--all of them were missing, and all D got was Takuma's happy face that was glowing, brimming with joy at the day they were unified...
D blinked.
Did he...
Did this mean... he wasn't a...
...Had he and Takuma...?
And D's expression was slightly wide-eyed as he stared at the other man.

"In my memori--What is it?", he paused as he looked back up and saw D staring at him with wide eyes. It almost made him feel vulnerable. He shifted in his seat and found himself looking away like a coy virgin. He was blushing and glancing up at him through his eyelashes, not letting his gaze linger. "Wh-what...?

"WH-WHAT?!"
Reply
"Did I take your virginity?" Because if he did--D didn't know what to think about that. Sorry. That's what he felt. Sorry.

He shook his head. "Let's not think about....that yet. I...I was about to say...that in my memories. There was someone that was really close to me since I was a child and every time their name was said, it would fade out. Just like it did in the wedding memory, remember? I also couldn't see their face or anything like that....m-maybe...."

His name...
The hunter nodded towards the blond. "...I remember. I can't even remember my own name when I..." And perhaps that was why. If he could so easily tell Takuma his name, then it would no longer be a mystery... there was most likely a reason Takuma couldn't remember.
It probably also didn't help that the Night Class had been in their dream, and yet, for Ichijou, this time there was no person with a blurred face, just a name.
D let out a sigh.
"...There are... other things about it as well... such as why I have those capsules, and... you..."
D leaned back. "...You are different... from... the vampires I know..." The ones he killed over and over again in his memories. "...Much different."
Reply
"And...I feel like you're like me. You give off that same feeling that my friends did back home". Dammit, that was not the information he needed. It just fed the memories validity even further.

The dhampir lifted a hand to his mouth.
"...Are you hungry?" He asked him faintly, gesturing to the menu.
