"You came," Ginko pointed out to Hibari, just in case the teen hadn't noticed he wasn't back at his apartment.

"Hnn. That's considerate of you," Ginko replied, stepping close enough to check out Hibari's pile of food.
"...Only thing you're missing is fried chicken. Come on," Ginko said, motioning Hibari to follow him to the appropriate food stall.

"How's yours?" he said after the first bite, holding out a napkin for Hibari if he wanted it.

"Hike's tomorrow," he commented as they came up to the fish stand, digging out his wallet again.

Ginko watched the vendor prepare Hibari's next course with a curious look. Maybe he should try cooking that. He'd put more seasoning on.
"Sorry I didn't tell you sooner, but a friend of mine was curious about the mugura riding. She's going to help out with the experiment, stay back at a certain point on the trail so I can try to find her through the mugura," said Ginko clearly so Hibari didn't miss any of it.
No point hiding something, really, he thought to himself.

"Don't be like that. ...Just hear me out," Ginko began, turning to Hibari without stepping nearer just yet, "This experiment is something I want to share with as many people as possible; you could tell that from my journal entry about it, right? If someone wants to find out more about my world, would you imagine me being tight-lipped? I take pleasure in teaching people, about sharing knowledge and experiences."
"Order's up!" the vendor interrupted, and Ginko waited a second before taking his eyes off Hibari to retrieve their food and pay.

"N, Nn... Yeah. My bad. I was dragging my feet. I wasn't sure how you'd take it," he said, turning his head slowly to see if Hibari was glaring at him or not, "...You've got some intimidating thorns on you, Kyouya."
Piece by piece, I'm figuring him out, I guess, right? Piece by piece...

"Don't take those out in the middle of a crowded festival," Ginko recommended, only sweating a teensy bit, honestly!
